GIO BLONDE PERFORMER

Gio Blonde’s performance // Blind-Session ( 60 minutes): Gio Blonde blindfolded and naked will get into a relationship with the public through her body and the camera: Gio recording blindfolded any possible reactions & interaction between her, the spectator (who can choose whether to blindfold) and some selected objects (felt-tip pens , scissors, knives, candles, water, honey, etc.) 

My mother was blind and a photographer. I understood that the camera is only a means and it is only through the exchange of energy, heart and skin that transformation can be created. Each performance has in common the freedom and the courage to decide and choose who to be and who to become. Through it I give a piece of light to those who come into contact with me deciding to leave their comfort zone and transforming themselves into something else & beyond.
